1. Information we handle

Depending on how you use the service, we may handle:

• Portal account information: username, password hash, business or store name, address, phone number, email address, account role, and account relationships.
• Product and QR information: QR token, product name, SKU, MRP, assignment details, and purchase price entered by an authorized dealership account.
• Account operations: credit allocations and related account activity needed to operate and support the portals.
• Support and recovery information: details you provide when contacting support or requesting a password reset.
• Technical information: basic connection and diagnostic details that may be recorded by the web server, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, and time of access.

2. QR scans and information shown publicly

When an assigned QR code is scanned, the public scan page is designed to show the product name, SKU, MRP, store name, and tag number associated with that code. Do not enter information into these fields that you do not want shown to people who scan the product.

The purchase price is intended for authorized dealership portal use and is not displayed on the public QR scan page. QR scan requests include the QR token in the page address so the service can find the matching product.

3. How we use information

• To create and authenticate portal accounts and provide the dealership, agent, and administrator functions.
• To connect QR codes with products and show the intended product details when a code is scanned.
• To manage account credits, password recovery, customer support, and service communications.
• To protect the website, troubleshoot problems, and prevent misuse or unauthorized access.
• To meet applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes.

4. Passwords, cookies, and app storage

Portal passwords are stored as password hashes rather than readable passwords. The website uses an essential session cookie to keep an authenticated portal session working. The MrpINFO PWA service worker caches its static app resources, such as its icon and manifest; it does not cache portal pages or login submissions.

The homepage loads some font files from Google Fonts. Your browser may connect to Google to retrieve those files. Google handles that connection under its own privacy terms.

5. When information may be shared

Information may be available to the account holder and authorized personnel who administer or support that account. We may also use service providers that host the website or database, deliver password recovery emails, or help maintain the service. They receive information only as needed for those functions.

The “Buy Blank QR Codes” link may take you to a separate ordering website. That website has its own privacy practices; review its policy before submitting information there.

We may disclose information where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or other people.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide and administer the service, support accounts, maintain operational records, address security issues, and meet applicable legal requirements. Retention periods may vary by information type and account status.

We use safeguards intended to protect account and product information. No website or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your requests and choices

You may contact us to ask about personal information associated with your account or to request correction or deletion, subject to identity checks, operational needs, and applicable law. Portal users should also contact their account administrator for information managed by that organization.

8. Children

MRPinfo is a business product and portal service. It is not designed to collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy as the website or its practices change. The latest version and update date will be published on this page.
